my journey to yoga

After discovering yoga in 2012, I was immediately drawn to its endless exploration. I quickly learned that yoga isn’t just about poses—it’s about alignment, balance, and a sense of flow that extends far beyond the mat. Through my own journey, yoga became a grounding force—supporting my physical and mental well-being, while offering a path of continuous learning.

As I deepened my practice, I felt called to share this transformative experience with others. Leaving my career in education, I followed my heart fully, creating meaningful yoga experiences that nurture the mind, body, and spirit.

I weave together my background in education with my yoga teaching, creating an environment where all levels feel welcome. My classes emphasize growth, empowerment, and self-discovery—whether you’re stepping on the mat for the first time or refining years of practice.

Certified with Yoga Alliance, with over 1,000 hours of teaching experience, guiding students of all backgrounds and abilities.

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Completed at Kodawari Studios in 2018, focusing on alignment, breathwork, and mindful movement.

Educational Background

Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education and Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Tampa.
